Aldi Ham, Dry Cured and Smoked

This Aldi ham has a really nice smoked flavor to it, and is a really good value considering the quality of it. Unlike the standard Aldi ham, this doesn’t have any additives or weird preservatives in it, but just salt and dry cured Italian ham. I like eating this right out of the container for a snack, or putting it on sandwiches. Sometimes I’ll put some over a frozen pizza and it’ll crisp up really nicely for an added pizza topping. There’s definitely fat on the sides of the ham, but that always adds a richness and delicious flavor to anything. ………….

Italian Ham at Aldi

This Aldi ham is one of those Aldi products that is one of the growing high end, legitimately gourmet foods that almost shockingly I’ve come to expect. Aldi seems like it’s transitioning from purely a budget grocery to more of a Trader Joe’s (same parent company) style store with super interesting international foods. Aldi is quickly becoming a go to for not just Aldi aisle of shame finds, but legitimately cool and delicious new food items. And if you can’t make it out to Aldis, give these items a try…..
