Aldi Macarons, Assorted French

These Aldi Macarons are a relatively new edition to the Aldi dessert section in the freezer, and are a fantastic deal while being delicious and addicting. This pack of 12 Aldi macarons has a few different flavors, including raspberry, vanilla, chocolate and pistachio. They all are pretty good, but I think the raspberry one is my favorite of the bunch. Macarons are an old school French dessert that’s basically meringue with sugary filling in between. They can be really pricey at bakeries so both the Aldis macarons and the nearly identical Trader Joe’s macarons are a great value………….

French Macarons at Aldi

It’s not easy to find a really good macaron, especially at a good value at any local bakery. That’s why I love these Aldi macarons, especially because they come frozen so you can just defrost one (or maybe two!) at a time and not have to eat a bunch of sugar in one sitting if you don’t want to. How would everyone compare the taste and texture of these to other homemade or bakery made macarons you’ve had!? And if you can’t make it out to Aldis, give these items a try…..
